BV Progress Report/Saturday Ride in the Buena
Buena Vista Progress Report: Hey everyone! Another busy week of trail work is in the books out in the Buena Vista Trail system. Thanks so much to the TRACKS trail crew what is working it every Monday, the ad hoc workers that are helping out and getting things done on other days days, and the big showing of help and support we got last Saturday morning. The work going on is incredible! Here's where we stand right now: Rainbows: The regular TRACKS trail crew finished

Trail Give Back Day -- Saturday, June 13th
Buena Vista Trail Workday: Great news! STBVF is having a trail give-back day in the Buena Vista this coming Saturday, June 13th at 7:00 a.m.. Yep, this coming Saturday is your opportunity to give back to the trail system where you love to ride that mountain bike of yours. We won't be having a group ride Saturday morning. Instead we'll be giving back to Walter and the Buena! STBVF Board Member Dave Moore helping to bench cut an area on Petrified on June 7, 2026. Look

Trail Construction Officially Begins: Having received approval from the USFS, TRACKS officially began construction in the Buena Vista on Monday, June 1st. They are starting by tackling the two beginner trails, Rainbows and Sunshine. At this point, a little over 1/2 mile of Rainbows has been more or less built, or at least roughed in.. Picture of the intersection of our two new trails, Rainbows & Sunshine! The intersection is already sporting the new trail signs

Saturday Ride, BV, 7:30 a.m., Sunday Trail Work
Saturday Ride: Hey Everyone! Well, are you ready for your first ride in the now officially recognized Buena Vista Trail system? Yep, Saturday is the day, the very first time your tires will touch what are "officially" part of the White Mountain Trail System. Has anything changed that much yet? Nope, other than you'll notice white diamonds are in the process of being hung all over the formerly "secret" trails. We might have hoped to have a little preview this week

Saturday Ride: Flume/Timber Mesa/Sawmill/Panorama
Saturday Ride 5/2/26: It's hump day folks, and that means it is time to start thinking about your weekend plans. Obviously, mountain biking is at the top of the priority list, so thoughts turn to our Saturday morning ride. This weekend we've got something a little bit different for you: A loop ride starting from the Panorama trailhead. We'll be riding the Flume Connector, a portion of the Timber Mesa trail, the Sawmill Connector, and then finishing the loop with runnin

Saturday BV Group Ride, April 25, 8:00 a.m.
Saturday Group Ride: Wow, what a great ride last weekend out at Los Burros! The trail was in great shape and our little group of eight had a great time out there. It was cool and brisk to start the morning for sure, but once we drove ourselves up the first climb things settled in nicely. Yes, it takes a bit to get out to Burros, but it always rewards you for the extra effort. What's on deck for this week? Well, we are headed back for some home cooking in the Buena V
Serial Killer Vibes on Flintstone
⚠️ Caution Buena Users ⚠️: So, I'm pedaling up Flintstone this evening. I get about 3/4 of the way up Flintstone, to the spot in the trail where there is a flat area that is pretty free of vegetation. And as I get there, there is the dark colored SUV parked on the left side of the trail perpendicular to it. Never having seen a vehicle anywhere before on Flintstone, and knowing it is almost impossible to get a vehicle to that location, I decide to slow down and chec

Los Burros, 8:00 a.m. Saturday/BV Progress
Saturday Morning Ride: Hey there everyone, hope you are having an excellent week. Last weekend our group ride had us out in the Buena Vista Saturday morning. We covered about fifteen miles and had a great group of riders. With Max the "wonder dog" out front most of the time, we were able to explore some paths a little less traveled these days. Sheryl Teske rides past the "Dome Rock" in the Buena during the group ride on Saturday, April 11th. This week, we will be making

For that reason, the meeting has been moved to the Navajo County Road Maintenance Building, which is located at 1100 E. Thornton, Show Low, AZ 85901. That's over by the Sparklight business office and Pet Allies and such, if you know where tho
