Buena Vista Ride Saturday, 7:00 a.m.

Saturday Group Ride: Hey there everyone! Happy hump day! Hope everyone is getting into their summer groove and is getting in plenty of riding. No? Well . . . time to fix that!

Last Saturday we had a great group of people out at the Land of the Pioneers trail near Vernon. Conditions were . . . well, loose, dry and dusty, but we still had a great time out there. The conditions just made climbing Ecks Mountain a little more challenging than usual, but we got the job done!

This Saturday, we'll be returning to the Buena Vista area for another fun group ride. The ride will run somewhere between thirteen and sixteen miles, and we'll ride along at a friendly social pace. As always, intermediate MTB skills are recommended, but our group is very patient and we are willing to accommodate most everyone. We've never abandoned anyone yet!

Meet at the Buena Vista trailhead approximately two and half miles south of Show Low off of U.S. 60. at 7:00 a.m. and be ready to ride. The ride will probably take about two to two and a half hours, and we'll be back by 9:30 . . . in plenty of time for you to get home and go to your Saturday chores. Remember to pack water and sunscreen . . . it's will probably be in the high 70's at the end of the ride . .. which if you are valley folk, is perfect. If you are White Mountain folk . . . well that's getting a bit warm!
