Los Caballos Secrets on Saturday
Saturday Ride 8/29: Hey Everyone . . . we're over the hump again so it is time to think about not whether we'll go for a ride on Saturday, but instead . . . where? Well, we're mixing it up a little this Saturday on a special request from Zach Thompson. Where did he request? The social trails over in the Los Caballos trail. No, not nasty Los Caballos itself, the social trails, which I promise are way better then the designated trail. From a Los Caballos group ride, M

Saturday Ride Information/Labor Day Weekend Trail Work
Buena Ride Saturday Morning: Well, it's hump day, and that means it is time to start planning for the upcoming weekend. Last week we had an incredibly good turnout for our group ride with just perhaps the first feeling of the coming fall season as it was a little cool when we started out. It was nice to have a good healthy number of riders out there last weekend. Here, Mischa Larisch, Conrad Loney, and Laura Larisch are all pictured in the foreground. Conrad is reall

Saturday Ride Information, BV Ribbon Cutting
Saturday Ride Information: Hey everyone! What a great Saturday ride it was last week out at Los Burros. Yeah, it is a bit of a haul getting out that far for most of us, but what you realize once you get out there is that it is worth every bit of windshield time. The dust was almost non-existent given our season rains, the trails were like glue, and TRACKS just keeps making this trail better and better! Kevin Packer successfully negotiates the Collar Bone Drop on Los

Saturday Ride at Los Burros!
Saturday Ride: Hey everyone! This coming Saturday morning we'll be having our group ride out at Los Burros. People who have ridden it lately claim that the dirt is nice and grippy and the trail is in great condition. Meet at trailhead number two (not the campground) at 7:00 a.m. A stop at the springs on Los Burros in November of 2025. This is an intermediate level 13.6 mile MTB ride, and will probably take about two hours to complete. As usual, this is a social and

Differential Re-Route Complete/BV Ribbon Cutting October 7th
Differential Re-Route Completed: We need to pass along the fact that the re-route we needed to do in order to avoid an area of archeological concern was completed last weekend. Thanks so much to everyone who showed up and allowed us to get it done before it got too hot! Our crew did a great job, the results look fantastic and it is riding really well. Signs note the closure of the portion of the portion of Differential that is now closed and re-directing trail users on

Volunteers Needed! Saturday Trail Give-Back Day #2 and TOWM
Saturday Morning BV Trail Work: Hey, hey, hey, here's your Saturday ride information! There is no ride Saturday morning! The weather is looking like it is going to be dry enough to allow us to have a 2nd trail give-back day, so we need folks to volunteer for trail work Saturday morning. The plan is for our crew to finish the Differential re-route, which we started well over a month ago, and to permanently close down old Differential. The hope is that with enough hands,
Trail Work Cancelled
Hey everyone! Sorry, but tomorrow morning's trail work on Petrified has to be cancelled. We had a significant storm move through the Buena this evening and it won't be dry enough to get out there in the morning. Stay tuned as I know we'll probably re-schedule!

Buena Vista Ride Saturday Morning, Sunday Trail Work
Saturday Ride 7/25: Well, it has been a few weeks since we've played on the home field, so this week we finally return to the Buena Vista trails on Saturday morning. Yes, the area is supposed to dry out starting on Thursday, and that gives the trails 48 hours to bake before we ride. With any luck, we'll have some hero dirt out there this coming weekend! I can't wait to hit it, can you? The last few weeks have made it hard to advance much work in the Buena given the Stag

Saturday Morning Gravel Ride
Saturday Ride: What a great ride we had last Saturday morning! We rode most all of the new 18-mile TOWM course, and it is widely agreed that this is going to be a hit for the people that sign up for and ride it in the Tour! Lumberjack has really come in over the last two years and is an absolute hoot to ride. Even the climb up to the top on Blue Ridge has gotten better and better as TRACKS has kept working on it. The improvements to the Springs trail have greatl

Saturday Ride: New TOWM Race Route
Saturday Ride: Hey folks! Maybe you've heard and maybe you haven't, but the Tour of the White Mountains is going to have an entirely new 18 mile single-track race course this fall. This Saturday, you can get a chance to see what that's all about, because we'll be having a group ride where we'll be covering most of it.! The new route includes parts of the Iron Horse Connector, Country Club, Blue Ridge, Lumberjack, and Springs trails. Carol Godwin and her bike pose ne
