Walter Jerseys/Saturday Ride

New Walter Jerseys: Back by popular demand, we should have our STBVF "Walter" jerseys available to order again in a week or so. So if you missed last year's order or if you are new to the area and want one, we anticipate being able to post next week a link to the Primal store for folks to order them. There are going to be two offerings this time . . . we'll be re-issuing last year's jersey . . . but along side it we are going to be selling a long-sleeve jersey as a number of folks indicated they want one. If we get our order in in the next few weeks the jerseys should be here for the fall/winter riding season. The price of the short-sleeve jerseys will again by $69.99.

The price on the long-sleeve jerseys is still TBD. Yes, both versions of the jerseys will have two zip-up pockets in the back and will be MTB style jerseys. Proceeds above and beyond cost will benefit our efforts to create and maintain trails in the Buena area.

Saturday Morning Ride: After a great ride at Los Burros last Saturday, we are going to be back in the Buena Vista trails Saturday morning. Meet at 7:00 a.m. at the Buena trailhead off of U.S. 60 at 7:00 a.m. Ride will probably be in the 12-15 mile range and we should be back to the trailhead right around 9:00 a.m. Intermediate MTB skills recommended. Just a friendly, "no-drop" non-competitive social ride. So come out and join us Saturday morning! We've never lost anyone yet.

There is a chance this ride could be rained out Saturday morning has it has been pretty wet this week and it is supposed to rain tomorrow. So please, check the "Cycle Maniacs" space on Strava if it has rained before you head out. If the ride is cancelled Carol will make an announcement there.
