Saturday Ride, Snowflake-Taylor Trails, 7:00 a.m.

Saturday Ride Announcement: Saturday Morning's Ride this week is going to be out in the mountain bike trails in Snowflake. Meet at 7:00 a.m. ready to ride!!!

This trail system has a little bit of everything, from a flat paved biking/hiking/running path, winding and flowy singletrack trails with technical sections, to freestyle mountain bike park features! Our group ride will focus mostly on the single track sections.

The Snowflake-Taylor trails wind around like no other trails system you will ever encounter. Even this sneaky snake, spotted slithering across Below-the-B'Backs in the Buena on Monday by Patty Petrick and her dog Bandit, is straighter than anything you'll encounter in the Snowflake-Taylor trails.

The Snowflake-Taylor trailsystem is about 20 miles north of Show Low. You'll want to take Highway 77 north to West 7th Street South in Snowflake, turning left at the Maverick gas station. From there, continue two miles to the west on West 7th South, crossing the Jake Flake wash crossing, until you come upon the parking area with bike features and restrooms on the left side of the road. That's where you'll park.

If you never ridden these trails, they are a treat! The trails themselves can be a little bit tricky in spots, but generally this is an intermediate level ride. We are out there to have fun not race, so it is a moderate paced no-drop group ride.

Come join us on Saturday!
