Saturday Group Ride/EATC Trail Event
Saturday Group Ride: Just want to let everyone know that we'll be doing a group ride in the Buena Vista Saturday morning, July 8th. Meet at the Buena Vista trailhead at 7:00 a.m.. We'll be riding about 12-15 miles. Intermediate level MTB skills are recommended. Even if we start early it is still hot out there this summer so start packing some extra fluids!
Thanks to everyone that came out over the 4th of July weekend for the Buena ride last Saturday and the Land of the Pioneers ride on the 4th. Great showings of people for both events. This rides are a lot more fun with all of your friends (old and new) along! We had five new people receive their first-timer at Hole-In-The-Rock on Saturday, which is a new record!

EATC Trails Event on Saturday: After the group ride Saturday, stop the Eastern Arizona Trails Collaborative Community Workshop in Show Low City Park., which will run from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. You can learn about local trails, upcoming projects and how you can get involved!

The Eastern Arizona Trails Collaborative is hosting a community event to learn about
local trail projects and the outstanding opportunities for recreation in the area. This
family-friendly event will provide a chance to connect with organized groups for hiking,
biking, driving, horseback riding, and other outdoor recreation activities, as well as local
governments and land managers. The event will occur at Show Low City Park on
Saturday, July 22 from 10:00AM-1:00PM.
Partners of the Eastern Arizona Trails Collaborative (EATC) have worked together for
the past three years to coordinate work such as clearing and maintaining trails, building
new trails and trailheads, installing signage, and improving access to trails.
Organizations in attendance will include: Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Arizona
Alpine Trail, Arizona Game and Fish Department, Backcountry Horsemen of the White
Mountains, City of Show Low, Navajo County, Town of Pinetop-Lakeside, Save the
Buena Vista Trail Foundation, TRACKS of the White Mountains, and White Mountains
Open Trails Association.
At this event, community residents and visitors can learn about the projects currently
occurring as well as provide input on what is important to work on next. They can also
get involved in organized hikes, rides and upcoming volunteer opportunities.

explore Eastern Arizona's trails, and discover new ways to appreciate our community.
