Los Burros Ride This Weekend

Los Burros Ride Saturday: Hey Everyone! Well, we have a tentative plan in place for this weekend's ride. We'll be doing the Los Burros Loop from LB Trailhead #2 starting at 7:00 a.m. To be clear, we are not meeting at the Los Burros campground due to issues we had there earlier this year with the campground host..

We say the plan is tentative, because the remnant low of what will remain of tropical storm Mario is going to be paying Arizona a visit on Friday and there is a really good chance of significant and widespread rains Friday/Friday night that might rain us out. If it rains significantly on Friday or Friday night this ride may be cancelled or converted to a gravel ride.. So keep your eye on the weather and stay tuned!

This will be a good opportunity to pre-ride the Los Burros section of the Tour of the White Mountains if we can pull the ride off, which is just a couple of short weeks away on October 4th. TRACKS has been doing a ton of work on Los Burros lately, so trail conditions could be superb!

If you've not ridden it before, Los Burros is an intermediate level trail, so plan on bringing that skill set along. As usual, our group ride will be a no-drop affair and will proceed at a nice social pace. So come on out and join us Saturday. Weather permitting, of course. See you Saturday at 7:00 a.m.!
