Saturday Ride at LOP: Hey Everyone! Hope you had a great holiday weekend. The gang was out in the Snowflake/Tayor trails last Saturday, and what a day it was for a ride. Great conditions and great hosts in Rick Brimhall and Brandon Hatch who led the charge for us. Those trails generally, and The Vortex specifically, are tricky trail to negotiate and navigate if you don't do it much!

This coming weekend, we will be over at the Land of the Pioneers (LOP) trail near Vernon. Mike and Carol will be guiding us on a twelve to fifteen mile ride utilizing the "Director's Cut," which allows you to hit the best parts of the trail over there. We'll be moving along at a nice social pace so we don't lose anyone out there!
Land of the Pioneers is an intermediate level ride, so you will want to bring that skill set along with you! We'll meet at 7:00 a.m. and the LOP trailhead. Let's be ready to ride then! If you haven't been there before, the trailhead is about 20 miles east of Show Low, and you can get there either by heading east on highway 60 from Show Low, or, if you live in Pinetop-Lakeside, you may want to get there using the Vernon McNary Road.
