Juniper Ridge Report, Saturday 7/6 & Sunday 7/7 Rides
Juniper Ridge Ride Report: Hey everyone! What a great group ride out at Juniper Ridge last weekend! Thanks so much to Nate K. and his dad for getting the trails out there ready for us to ride and leading us around the best that area has to offer. We rode part of Juniper Ridge, the General Crook Connector, and some of the social trails in the area. And what a great showing by our local cycling community! We had a ton or our regulars, some faces we have not seen in awhile, and some new peole too! Twenty-one riders came out, which is pretty close to the most we have ever had on one of our Saturday groups. Here's a couple of pictures of our group from last Saturday:

Group Ride for Saturday, July 6: So, after a couple of weeks in a row out on the road,, we will keep the stoke going back on our home field, the Buena Vista trail, on Saturday July 6th. Meet at the Buena Vista trailhead at 7:00 a.m. ready to ride. For those that don't know, the BV trailhead is a couple of miles south of Show Low off of highway 60. Look for the "Trail 637" sign just past the Summer Pines subdivision, take a left, and you are there.
The ride will run about twelve to fifteen miles in length. This is a friendly and moderately paced "no-drop" social ride that anyone should feel comfortable joining if they have even decent intermediate MTB skills. We never know where we will be going in this trail network, as it depends on the mood, the weather and who we have with us,. But we always have a great time out there. This will be the first weekend the group gets to meet "Bonnie," our newest trail mascot in the BV that wishes hikers, bikers and equestrians the best during their BV journeys! So photos will be necessary this weekend for sure.
LOP Bonus Ride!!!! Sunday July 7: Well, it is the 4th of July weekend. So . . . bonus!!!! Mike and Carol Godwin will be leading a ride in the Land of the Pioneers (Director's Cut) on Sunday, July 7th starting at 7:00 a.m. sharp from the LOP trailhead out by Vernon.

The ride will run about 12.5 miles more or less. Intermediate skills recommended. Friendly "no-drop" ride featuring some of Vernon's pioneer heritage.
