4th of July Weekend Ride, LOP 7/5, 7:00 a.m.

Celebrate the 4th of July Weekend at LOP: In what is kind of becoming a bid of tradition, the ride plan this weekend is to head out to the Land of the Pioneers trail on Saturday morning, July 5th to ride the Land of the Pioneers trail. Here's the official invitation from everyone's favorite shop dog:

Max says be at the trailhead at 7:00 a.m. sharp, ready to ride!

Yep, that's ride Max. We're going to be doing the Land of the Pioneers (LOP) trail "Director's Cut" on Saturday. For those that have not been there before, this ride usually runs about thirteen miles, although a little more can be added if our ride leader gets creative. The trail itself takes us to the sites of the ruins of several pioneer cabins to help you celebrate your country's heritage on the 4th of July weekend.

LOP is intermediate trail so you'll want to bring along that skill set. As always, this is a friendly group ride and we aren't out there to see how fast we can do it. We always have a policy of not dropping people on our rides, so come on out and feel the love even if you are a little bit wary of group rides.
