1st Official BV Group Ride of 2026

Kicking off The Season: Well boys and girls, we just can't hold back any longer. While the weather has been beautiful, we've been hesitant to start posting weekly Saturday morning rides for fear that winter could show up. But winter just obviously isn't happening.. Saturday's forecast is more befitting June than March, with a predicted high of 80 degrees. There's only one thing to do. Start riding!

And so, our first group MTB ride of 2026 will be this Saturday, March 21st! Meet at the Buena Vista trailhead south of Show Low off U.S. 60 at 8:00 a.m. We'll be doing a ride in the range of twelve to fifteen miles and should be returning to the trailhead around 10:00 a.m., give or take a little. Given that this is the first ride of the year, we plan a nice leisurely and social pace. Although the trails generally are not difficult, intermediate mountain biking skills are recommended for this ride.

The trails are really in mid-season form given that we had no winter to speak of at all. Add the fact that TRACKS has been working on the trails all winter in anticipation of them becoming "official" this year, and we've got a formula for a really nice ride. The only thing that needs to be added to make the ride wonderful is you!
