First Ride of the Fall/STBVF Stickers/Requesting Help!

Saturday Group Ride: Hey Everyone! The first group MTB ride of the fall in the Buena Vista area will be this Saturday, September 24th at 8:00 a.m. starting at the U.S. 60 trailhead. It will be a 12-15 mile moderate paced no-drop ride. Last week we had some old faces around that we'd not seen for awhile and it was sure nice to have them back with us! We got to go see some places we don't usually see including a quick visit with Walter's girlfriend, Wilma, who we'd not seen in awhile either.

Hope to have a good showing this weekend as well.

STBVF/Walter Stickers Have Arrived: We received our shipment of Walter stickers this week! If you pre-ordered a jersey, your Walter sticker is free with your purchase and can be picked up at Cycle Mania in Show Low now. You don't need to wait for jerseys to arrive to pick yours up. If you did not buy a jersey you can still pick up a sticker from Cycle Mania anyway with a $5.00 donation to STBVF, which is a 501(c)(3) and is working to preserve what will remain of the Buena Vista after the land exchange and in expanding the trail system from there.

MBAA Requests Help for Enduro Race: The Mountain Bike Association of Arizona is looking for some additional volunteers to serve as back-up timers for the Enduro Race scheduled for October 9, 2022 up at Sunrise Park Resort. If you can help out, please contact Tim Racette at (928) 358-3313. If you are interested in racing, the online registration fee is $75.00 and is due 9/30/22 at 8:00 p.m. You can register race day for $100.00 (cash only).
