Annual Meeting/Heritage Study Begins/Saturday Ride

Heritage Study Begins: Finally! We have boots on the ground doing our Heritage Study for the Buena Vista Trails as of today. Abby Docter and Grant Fahrni from Logan Simpson arrived today and will be working the rest of the week to survey the area looking for any significant archeological sites. If you see them out there, stop and thank them for their work!

STBVF General Membership Meeting: The STBVF Board will be hosting the annual membership meeting that our non-profit corporation is required to have on Tuesday, May 23rd at 7:30 a.m. Among other matters we will be electing officers for the next fiscal year. If you are a member (and if you receive our emails you are) you are welcome to attend. It will be held at the White Mountain Advantage real estate office in Show Low in the same plaza as Cycle Mania.

Saturday Ride: We had a great time out at Land of the Pioneers last week with Mike Godwin leading us on the LOP "Director's Cut" loop of the trail. This coming Saturday we'll be back in the Buena for another group ride. Expect a 12-15 mile ride. Intermediate MTB skills recommended. Meet at the BV trailhead off of U.S. 60 at 8:00 a.m. A casual no-drop ride that will be fun for all.
