Saturday Ride/EATC Meeting

EATC Core Group Meeting: The Eastern Arizona Trail Coalition core group met at the USFS office in Springerville on Wednesday, August 30th. We had the opportunity to share the good news that STBVF's contractor has completed all of the necessary fieldwork for the Heritage Study, and has recently submitted the full written report to the USFS. What this means is we'll be meeting with the USFS after Labor Day to lay out the next steps to get the trail master plan approved so we can get to work. Good news!

Saturday Ride: We'll be riding in the Buena Vista area again this coming Saturday morning. We plan a twelve-fifteen mile MTB ride starting at 7:00 a.m. sharp from the Buena Vista trailhead south of Show Low off of Highway 60. We should have the ride completed around 9:00 a.m.

best times to ride.

Last Saturday were were blessed with splendid weather with cool temperatures and cloud cover . . . which inspired a few of us in the group to get in a few "bonus miles." A good time was had by all! If you've been hesitating to join the group don't be afraid. These are strictly "do-drop" rides and we've not lost anyone yet!
